I didn't have to work for the first time in 11 years on our anniversary. How about that! Poor Jim -- he spent his whole day with me sitting in the doctor's office for 2 1/2 hours and then went to physical therapy with me for another 2 hours. At least we went to lunch together.
I love this guy - There have been lots of tough years and tough experiences, but there have been some really great times as well. We're hoping this next year will be even better.
42 years ago today, I remember thinking, thank heavens, she went through with it. Not that I had any doubts but I was grateful just the same.
