Did you all here what happened here today? Just twenty minutes from my home. It makes me so sad to think there is so much hatred for soldiers/Americans out there. These men were on their way to a deployment. This could have very easily been my husband or any of my friends' husbands heading out to war to serve our country. My God be with the families of the victims.

I did hear about this and was wondering how you were all doing with it. I'm so glad you are safe. What was the bases response to this?
I just read about it on your facebook page. So sad for everyone involved. So sorry that happened. I am glad you are safe and so is Hans.
I am glad it wasn't hans. How sad.
For some reason, three of the posts didn't show up on the blog when I was a work this afternoon. That is so very weird.
I did read about this and it made me heartsick. I wish you didn't have to be out there. But I suppose this could happen over here, too. The world sure is in a topsy turvey state these days.

Adrianne, they had a lock down on the base last night so Hans didn't get home for a while. Then, he got a call this morning at 5am telling him they were doing an emergency check on everyone so he had to report to work no later than one hour from the time of the phone call. I'm sure security will probably be a lot stronger today getting onto base as well.
