The following is a poem that John Tanner, one of the speakers at the KJV symposium wrote and presented. Based on the beautiful KJV language, this time referring specifically to the prodigal son. Brother Tanner gave a wonderful presentation. He is a VP of BYU and this summer will serve as a Mission President in Brazil. From Dad Clark
And when he came unto himself he said
. . . . I will arise and go to my father.
Thy gentle voice recalls me home
However far I stray,
It whispers in my mother tongue
When I have lost the way.
It bids my restless soul to rest
That rests in thee alone,
And calls me back unto myself
When I begin to roam.
Sin is a wandering and a mask,
A hollow vanity.
I am not made for such pretense
Since I am made for thee.
Luke 15:17
Acts 9:5
Romans 7:19-20
2 Timothy 2:25-26
