Lindsey just called me and said Hans is now home, safe and sound. Talk about a happy woman! She will put some photos and other information on the blog so look for it. Congratulations needs to go to both Hans and Lindsey for toughing this out and doing so well. We're very proud of both of you.
Welcome back, Hans. We've missed talking to you.

Yeah for the Lokodi family! Glad the 15 or so months of active duty service are over! Now, on to South Carolina. -Jess
Yeah! Happy Homecoming!! I know Lindsey was still pretty bummed out just yesterday with Hans still in Kuwauit. Congrats on the homecoming! Glad you made it safe and sound!
hip hip hooray!
I am so happy for the Lokodis! I just told the girls and they both think that Eva and Gabe must be really excited to see their dad! We're all excited to say our prayers tonight and thank Heavenly Father for bringing him home safe.

Welcome home, Hans. Thank you for your service.
May I say amen to all of the above comments. I am so happy that you are home, Hans. I too, will thank God for your safe return. We have been praying for you each day in family prayer, and our prayers are certainly answered.
There are still lots of dangers and problems in Iraq and we hope that the men still there can help the situation. Perhaps it is not going to help in the long run, but the chance for feedom and security is needed by the Iraqi people, too.

Hans, Welcome home! We are so glad you are home and get to sleep in a real bed, with your wife and get to be there with your kids and eat all Lindsey's yummy food. And, we are glad that you are safe.
Lindsey, I am so happy for you! Finally, a husband. Finally, help. I hope it is a relief and that everything will be wonderful. I love you and I hope you know how much I admire you for getting through this trial so well. I know you don't believe that you did it very gracefully but I think you are amazing.
So glad to hear that you are home safe! I bet it feels awesome to be in your own bed and see your children after so long. Thank you for your service to our country.
Lindsey you did do well in my opinion. You toughed it out with a smile. I couldn't do what you did. You are an amazing woman. Enjoy having him back and celebrate!
