From the Farewell Adress

There are no pictures with this post, just information. Please read. This is very significant.

I just finished  reading a book by Glen Beck called Being George Washington. It was very good. I wanted to pass on one very significant thing (among many significant things) that President Washington said in his farewell address:

"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. . . . And let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle."

Given the religious climate in this world right now, especially in places like Europe, Africa, and other places, too, it is easy to see why the moral climate and thus the effectual "political prosperity" are quickly declining.
