Children at Play

This morning on my way home from work I stopped by a field and captured a few children at play. There are about 30 mares in this field and about 8 have had their colts. As I watched them try to convince their unwilling mothers to romp and play, I laughed with delight. They finally started pestering each other (kind of like siblings I know) and they were having a wonderful time.
What a wonderful way to start my morning, sharing in the fun of my favorite animals.

This was a friendly little guy.

 Mothers and babies.

This little colt tried to jump on her mother's back, nudging and coaxing her to play. The mother would have none of it. She was having breakfast.

On a totally different note, I am absolutely amazed at how this entire tabernacle, soon to be the Provo City Center Temple is sitting on stilts. None of it is touching ground. It is fascinating. It is simply suspended, waiting for a foundation.

What a happy day!
