Mission Call has arrived

The envelope with the call has arrived.  Caleb will open it at 4:15 p.m. central time.  If you have any last minute guesses on where he will go for two years, write them here.  So excited!

He is going to Anaheim, California. He reports to the MTC on October 24th.

I work with a guy that is from Anaheim and he said Caleb will absolutely love this mission. One of the perks of the mission is that the Angels baseball team has "Mormon Night" and all the missionaries get to go to the game. He said it is a really great event.

What great experiences await Caleb.

7 weeks and 5 days away. Who wants to pick him up from the airport on October 23rd and bring him to their house for a day? AND who wants to take him to the MTC?

WE SPEAK!!! We'll pick him up and deliver him to the MTC. I'm sad that you don't get to come out but we'd LOVE to take care of him. Please??

I figured you'd want to get him. That's great. I won't be sad because I'll know he's well taken care of.

I was so hoping that you would all be able to come out or at least you and Jason. :( I was looking forward to spending a little time with you. Your birthday present will be sent first thing tomorrow morning. It may be a little late but it's done and coming.

I have no vacation time or personal time to take at my job. I had to use my only personal day and my only vacation day to go to Ohio to do the marathon. I won't earn more days until the end of October. Plus being in the middle of the week, we'd have to fly there and back and the cost of that would be too much to just be there 1 day. I would love to come out. Glad he has so many cousins, Uncles, Aunts and his Grandparents to take him to the MTC.

Congrats to Caleb! California will be great. Is it English speaking or Spanish speaking? I know there's a lot of Spanish speakers down there so I bet he'll pick it up even if it's English speaking. Good luck Caleb. You're going to love it!
