If you remember, I have asked the girls to sing "In Mercy's Arms" when I die and I've asked all the guys in the family to sing "Brightly Beams Our Father's Mercy." One of you kids asked me why those songs and I said, "I'm going to need all the mercy I can get when I die." And then I found this poster from http://www.despair.com/. It says it all. I love that funny site of demotivational posters. So what you really want to say but have the decency not to say it.

I think most of us when we become parents ourselves recognize that we all fall short in a few areas and hope that our kids will also forgive us for those things we aren't great at. But truthfully, you are great parents and have done a good job with us all I think!
Adrianne, while there's a lot of truth to this, I just posted it because I thought it was so darn funny. When no one commented, then I figured that we really did screw things up for the kids. It worried me. :)
This poster is funny but true...don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Laugh, Lindsey -- you are not yet in the position to cry about it. I'm getting there but since I'm getting old, I'm going to wear a purple hat and a red dress and spit outside and not care how I screwed things up.
That comment was left by Hans. He's still trying to figure it out. I'm already crying. :)

I thought the key was to amass enough wealth so that you could buy them off. Either way, I'm in trouble.
