Our dump is still on fire

See post  HERE from our blog that I think everyone missed since I did two posts in a day that day.

It's been over two weeks and it's so going, so would you write the city?  the county? the dump?  Does anyone really care if we write them?

Or would you stay out of it?

One day I was running and the wind was pointed our direction and I could seriously feel grits falling on me and the air was horrible.  I had to turn back and go home early.  Should I have written the county that day?

Frustrating.

Jason and I sang a song the other night and it went something like this:  The dump, the dump, the dump is on fire, the city doesn't care, they'll let it burn burn burn.

Oh that is just down right nasty. Why in the world are they refusing to put it out?

They say it is not toxic and it's too expensive to put it out and that they will just let it burn itself out.

That is gross. I think I would be writing somebody a letter if it had been 2 weeks. I just have to say that the title of this post made me chuckle when I saw it, "Our dump is on fire," it just sounds funny when I say it in my head, but really they need to take care of that!

If there was a "like" button on Lance's comment, I would like it. I laughed too. At least I'm not the only immature one in the family.

Seriously though, NASTY! That would make my asthma really flare up too. Glad I don't live there right now. Good luck with that one.

Goodness. They really need to get it put out. I would be writing a letter or something to get it put out.

Yeah, I would "like" his comment too. haha Of course we all know what kind of thought Lance had as soon as he saw the title. I did laugh though.

I bet you Nancy wrote that comment.

I'm just glad Michelle didn't say "My dump is still on fire." As if she put it in a brown paper bag and left it on someone's doorstep. Yummy. -Jess

Of course it was Nancy. She is way more immature than me.
