Yes Folks, We Got Snow

Yes, folks, we got snow today. Can I cry yet? There was such gloom in the office as we watched the rain come down - and even a few snow flakes in Provo. Luckily the snow was melted on the yard by the time I got home, but the evidence of the snow storm is all over. More is supposed to come in from the north tonight and tomorrow. Hopefully it will warm up over the weekend. I am definitely NOT ready for winter. Our fall has been too spectacular and the summer weather was the best one I can remember in years. Eat your heart out Jess... you missed it.

Oh No do not remind me... I am sitting inside my warm house (thanks to the heather.... ahh) in denial :( I am so not ready for winter!

We got snow too--not as much as you guys but the mountains have a new dusting on them. It's supposed to be cold here today and tomorrow so we'll see if we get more in the next few days. This is actually the second time we've had snow in the mountains though. We had a storm a month ago that left snow in the mountains. I'm not looking forward to the cold and snow but at least it should be prettier here than in Ohio.

The mountains are gorgeous. Sometimes, when there are low clouds on the horizon, I can almost fool myself into thinking I am back in Idaho, looking out over the Snake River plain at the mountains.

I wish you were back here. :( We miss you guys so much.
Let Michelle know that we LOVED the card you guys sent to Ammon. Did she make it? It was really awesome.

I like Michelle's cards too! Michelle, didn't you join a card group like Jen? I think that would be fun.

Yes, I know my mom is a beast, but snow is not!

I did make that card. I go to a card making group once to twice a month and make 6 cards for $10. I love it because then I walk away with 6 beautiful cards that I actually made and have on hand to send people on all occasions. Not to rub it in or anything but today it started out at 61 degrees, just got back from running 6 miles outside in the GORGEOUS slightly cool weather and our high for today is due to be 86 degrees!!!!!!
