Fall & Mt. Loafer

Mt. Loafer is a very beautiful mountain year round. We are on the north side and so we see all the trees. It is riotous during the fall with the trees. The red comes first and moves down like a blush on a cheek. The yellow fills in amongst the dark pine. There is every shade of red, peach and yellow imaginable. It is in full bloom right now and it is gorgeous!!

Happy autum, everyone!

Oh, I'm jealous of two things: 1) you were able to get out and see some of the colors. 2) you live so stinkin' close to the mountains! I have to drive half an hour to get anything at all. I'm envious of your ability.

We ought to schedule a Payson Canyon trip to snap some photos. After Europe. -Jess

You're on.... I love their quaking aspens up at the top - there's a nice meadow with a cool fence that would be fun to shoot.
But I'm jealous that you will be able to go take pictures of Europe. Hopefully they will have fall colors as well.

We don't have colors like that yet. We will, but it's still too soon. We've had a weird warm spell the last two weeks. This always seems to happen in Germany though. August will be really cold and wet, then Sept. will be glorious. Mid to late October will be amazingly colorful though. I'll take pictures for you when it happens. Of course, my pictures won't look as good as yours though. These are beautiful pictures.

Evidently I need to get out more. I could use a quick canyon trip to see these beautiful colors!
