A Working Birthday

What should have been a fun birthday for Jim turned out to be a working day. I worked him to death! I was determind to get our bathroom done and since I don't have a lot of spare time at home, yesterday was my day to finish the room. IT'S DONE! I still have to get a bath mat or rug and hang some pictures, but the work is done. I finished painting and then Jim showed me how to caulk around the tub by doing one end and then turned it over to me. I did a good job, too. We then installed the curved shower curtain and finished the job.

The only thing Jim does when I'm painting that I don't like is to come in and point out all the spots I missed. I kick him out when he does that (several times yesterday). He was a great help and I appreciated it.
I also got the idea that I needed to clean Ammon's room so I basically gutted it and started over. We put a treasure box together to keep things that mean something but there is no room to display so much "stuff." It's a very clean, organized room now.

Jim did get a nice nap during the afternoon and then after dinner he and I watched the movie we got him for his birthday, "One Good Man," about a newly called bishop. It was an enjoyable movie. I was dead tired by the end of the day and Jim probably was, too. I don't think this was the way he planned to spend his 62nd birthday but that's how it went down.
