You all read my blog. You all know that I some times write personal things on there. I'm not sure why I do. Anyway, I was thinking about something that happened to me a long time ago and I was going to post it and then I wondered if it was too personal to share with the world. It was just something that strengthened my testimony. I have some friends that have commented that they think it is weird that people write personal things on their blog. One friend I have writes very personal things on her blog, a lot of it grieving, and I often feel awkward reading it, like maybe it's too personal.
There is an Ensign article that talks about sharing the Gospel through the internet (and I imagine they are talking about blogs mainly). So, I want to know how you all feel about it. Do you feel awkward when I write some things on my blog? Do you want to hear about expereinces I had/have that strengthened my testimony? I won't be offended if you do think it is too personal because as Katy, Mom, and Mike can attest to, I get worried about it a lot. But then I post it anyway....

I love your posts. I think you are a great writer and I appreciate your posts. I think you know the line between too personal and just right. I trust your judgment. So far, it's been great. Keep it up.I always enjoy the personal stuff a little more because while you say it, most people think it. We're all a lot alike - more than people wish to admit. You bring a nice human touch to your life that I don't get to see up close - So I think it's great I can still keep somewhat close to you even from a distance. Thanks for sharing.

Things that ate personal are real, not just contrived. So far everything you have ever posted has been well written, and very interesting. Keep it up

Keep posting. I find your humor wonderful and I think you are a talented writer. I think you will sense when something should be privately shared and when you can add things for everyone. There are quite a few people that follow this family blog - perhaps we can do a little missionary work this way, too.
I tend not to share too many personal things (I am an intensely private person) but that is just me. I tend to rant and rave (see my last post) or just share news. Having said that, I love to read your blog. I don't think you have shared anything that is too personal.
