We had a great 4th of July holiday. We spent Friday at the zoo. We were really disppointed in the Columbus zoo because there were so many people that we couldn't see anything. The line to the baby elephant was a 60 minute wait and there were just so many people! We hope the next time we go it won't be so crowded or I doubt we will go there again. But, even though we were disappointed we still had a good day together as a family and the boys had a good time.

Saturday we went to Chelsey's house and spent the afternoon with them. We had a BBQ for us and then later some people in their ward came over for treats and fireworks. They know how to throw a party! The fireworks were awesome and there was a blow up bounce house that one of Chelsey's friend's brought. Will and Isaac loved it! We really love being by family. Thanks Chelsey and Brent for inviting us to your house
Watching the fireworks

Isaac and Will were attatched to Geoff's hip all night long.
Will was so funny to watch. He LOVED the fireworks. Look at this face!

At the zoo. Is there a cuter family?! Look at those handsome boys!

Eli loved the goats. He kept poking them and then squealing. We got a picture of him sitting on one like he does Diamond.

The boys got to brush the goats. They loved that part of the zoo.

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing them. I love the zoo pictures. Eli's hair matches the goat's hair! Looks like they loved them.

And don't ever worry that the boys are hanging on Geoff. He eats it up and gets really excited whenever he hears they're coming down. They're much more exciting than his own little brother apparently! (Poor jake!)

It looks like you had a great weekend. I loved all the photos. That look on Will's face is worth a million bucks.
We had a BBQ with Adam and Amy and afterwards, they went up near BYU to watch fireworks but we came home because it ends up being after midnight before we ever get home. So we came home and Ammon, Kaitlin and I did sparklers and those little pop things that Ammon can throw. He said he loves sparklers. Kaitlin and I took a million photos. The evening sky was awesome and she figured out how to take some good ones at night. We walked down to the park with Ammon and had a nice, relaxing night. Not the kind of night she probably wanted, but it was what we did.
I had hoped to get more done over the weekend but now it's over and I'm back to work tomorrow.
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing photos by Lindsey as well since they went to Charleston and watched fireworks from the beach.

Adrianne,

Yes, that is a cute family. But remember that "cutest" in the public setting will do no good for a grandpa. I have lots of cute families, including my own which is in my memory every day.

Your faces looked like Will's when you saw something new and exciting. You were all so good looking and still are. Having you all as kids and enjoying you growing up is not something that ever goes away. Your families now only augment the happiness. Their is nothing as great as passed on joy.
