Logistical question posed for the group coming for the wedding:
Golf is on the schedule. Problem is we don't know when yet. The best day is Saturday because everyone is here, it's not the Sabbath, and it's not before the wedding when everyone is stressed to the hilt.
The problem with Saturday is that the temple open house reservations are for 11am. If we golf early Saturday morning, even 7am, it would be difficult to walk 9 holes, get back to your houses, change into Sunday best, and then drive to South Jordan by 11am.
If we change the reservation to noon, then we push back our homemade pizza lunch even further and won't be eating until 1:30 or so. By the way, we'll be having that lunch here in SL county, not Elk Ridge.
If we golf later in the afternoon / evening on Saturday, we run the risk of hotter temps (although I think it's looking pretty sweet (!) next week).
My vote is to golf 9 holes Saturday afternoon around 4pm at Hobble Creek Golf Course. Thoughts? Objections? Problems? Suggestions?
We will likely get two foursomes together: Jess, Dave, Lance, Adam, Brent, Jason, Chelsey?, ?. Dad is of course invited and while probably not able to golf due to arthritic hands, is more than welcome to come along as a walker or rider in a cart.

I don't care when or where. I just want to golf. I am going to the range tonight.
I probably won't be golfing because I don't have a lot of extra money lying around but I would like to meet up with some friends so I am interested in when you are going golfind. I will probably meet up with them then or go to the canyon.
Neither Brent nor I have even touched the clubs this year, so whomever is on our team I apologize ahead of time! If I'm the only girl going, maybe I should bow out so this can be a guy thing. ?? Are any other girls wanting to go? trust me, I wouldn't say I really know how to golf, just enjoy it.
Brent and I don't care when we golf, so anytime works for us Sat. as long as there's someone to help watch the kids.
Yeah, I think that 4pm time sounds good. There is good shade in Hobble Creek too, so the heat shouldn't be too bad of a problem. I vote for 4pm at Hobble Creek. I am excited and hope I don't fall apart in some lame sandtrap like last time....ugh...
I think Linsdey said she wanted to go golfing in an earlier post....
Who is watching the kids by the way?
Me, Adam, Dave, and Lance are all taken care of in regards to kids. Y'all should have a picnic up the canyon so we can meet you afterward. Right after Lance smokes us with a 4-under 32 over 9 holes. The Florida humidity has been good to him.
I've got two new drivers (for free!!!) that a guy in our ward didn't want anymore - a King Cobra and a Titleist. So ya'll better watch out, I'm driving for show.
Ha ha Jess, very funny.
Jason, I don't have a driver! I broke my last one (it was a cheap $20-on-clearance-special-at-Sports-Authority driver). I'd be happy to take one of them off your hands if you can't handle the burden of two...
Thank you Adrianne for remembering me! I want to go! I love to golf. I have mentioned it many times. I'm not good, but I'll be there if someone can watch my kids for me.
