Geoff was pretty good at the Wii.
The boys have been very difficult for me this week. I'm not sure why. I took them to this library reading/craft time on Tuesday and that night we went to Wal Mart. They were so terrible! I was so embarrassed. My kids are pretty typical boys--busy and crazy--but they are generally very good boys. We don't struggle with issues in public too often. We are pretty strict about that kind of stuff but also I think we are just very lucky to have obedient boys. But this week is a different story. On Monday we went to the doctor and they got us in an hour past our appointment time. The doctor was a single, young, childless lady and she was all annoyed and put my kids in the corner. I was really annoyed because what did she expect? Who would have thought that three sick boys who have been forced to sit for over an hour would be good? But, Isaac was terrible, biting me, throwing himself on the ground and yelling at me. The library was better but they were laughing and jumping and not listening to me and being so loud. There were only a few other boys so all these little prim girls and their parents were looking at us like, "Oh my gosh, control your boys." Then when we went to Wal Mart the boys would crawl on the aisle as people would try and get by and they would run away from me. I let them be pretty free at the store but running away from me isn't ok and we made them come to the cart and hold on the whole time. Will just kept saying, "This is boring mom." Sorry. Anyway, those three experiences have put a bad taste in my mouth. We haven't gone anywhere since Tues. I am wondering if we will go anywhere the rest of the week. Any advice?
In other news, Will still can't hear very well. He can't hear unless he is really close to us. It's really sad. When he wants to hear he just puts his ear really close to our mouth without even realizing he's doing it. Isaac has become his translator and will say, "Will, mommy wants you to go to her." I know he just can't hear and it is sad and annoying to repeat myself louder and louder until I am yelling. We took him in and the hearing test was fine and then we took him in again and he said he couldn't hear the beeping but since the test he took a few weeks before were fine, they just kind of blew it off. We have a referal to see an audiologist in a few weeks, on Chelsey's birthday actually. Any prayers on his behalf would be appreciated. The doctor also asked if he snores and stops breathing at night (sleep apnea). He does snore but I haven't noticed him not breathing. Apparently, his tonsils are really large and inflamed.
I am only eating 1,000 calories a day and exercising about 180-200 cal. off at night before bed. I'm hungry! I think it is crazy but I am finally losing weight so maybe all I have to do is starve myself....
Mike took a calculus test and scored the highest at a 40%! Yikes. He took it again this week and got a 66%. I'm a little worried about this semester...
On Saturday Brent and Chelsey came over for chimmichangas. They were yummy. This was before my 1000 calorie thing and before our sweet fast for two weeks ended. We had a lot of fun and the kids played the Wii.
Alright, that's about all the rambling I have for you.

It's a good thing Sarah's not old enough to care about the swimsuit shots of her rear end huh!
The dinner we had together was definitely yummy! Good luck with the calorie counting. That's always hard.
Sarah's dr just asked us the same thing about her tonsils. I've taken her in twice in the past week because her tonsils are ALWAYS large. They said it was fine unless she has too many strep cases, and has sleep apnea. She snores with the best of them, but doesn't seem to be stopping breathing while she sleeps. Funny thing is that she also is our deaf one. We've had her hearing tested 2x this year and both came back fine, but she's always turning things up really loud and can't seem to hear anything in what I'd call a normal range. Crazy. Keep us posted on what the dr says about Will. I'm really curious now.
I'm off to the dr again this morning. I HATE THE DR! That makes 3 visits in a week. It's going to break me! Jake still says he has a "bug" in his ear and his eye is swollen and goopey this morning. I hope we didn't infect you all with something like pink eye last night! I'll let you know!
There's a reason that we don't take our boys to the library anymore. Michelle had a horrible experience very similar to yours and was practically kicked out of the library.
Has Will had lot of ear infections? Does he have a lot of fluid behind his ear drum? I hope he is alright.
Jason, he has only had two ear infections in the last four years but the last one was a pretty bad. He does have fluid behind his ear drum but they don't want to do tubes because he is so old. They need to do something though.
