Great Father's Day

I believe Jim had a nice Father's Day. I enjoyed the day a lot. It started out with Lance, Nancy & John coming to church with us. As you can see, daddy and son had matching ties. It was so dang cute!!
Jim sang in a quartet for Sacrament meeting and it was awesome. They sang "Brightly Beams Our Father's Mercy." It was a wow song.
Here's this cute little guy, tie and all.

Dad, Lance, John and Ammon. Nice photo of all of them.

The "brown" family came to visit this afternoon as well.

We wanted to have dinner together before Lance & Nancy leave for Florida this Wednesday. So we had pizza - what else? I can't seem to make anything else that tastes any good.
Adam & Amy came over after their church and Gillian & Kevin came over to eat as well.
It has been a nice day.
I hope all you kids realize how lucky you are to have such a committed dad and worthy priesthood holder in your lives. It's been my honor to share my life with him for the past 39 1/2 years.

Looks like Adam and Amy could lead a UPS commercial "What can Brown do for you? Well, for starters, they can clean your gutters..."

Everyone looks great. Henry's getting so big! Holy Cow! He's a little boy, not a toddler now. Crazy how time flies.

Did Nancy make the tie onsie for John? That's cute. Hope you all had great pizza too!

Glad you had a good day dad. Sounds like fun!

Jess,
Adam did clean the gutters out for us. They were really stopped up at each end. Kevin held the ladder for Adam and they cleaned them out for us. We would normally clean them out when we set up the swamp cooler, but since we haven't set that up this year, we didn't even think about it.
As a result, we had a flood in Gillian's bedroom. Luckily Dad has a shop vac and by the time I got home from shopping, Kaitlin and Dad had moved out the furniture and had sucked up 1 and about 1/3 tanks full of nasty water. We have windows open and fans running to dry this out.
Thanks to the guys for helping out!

I know he and Kev cleaned the gutters. That's why I included that in my line.

I love Father's Day, because it seems like dads don't get the recognition they deserve often enough. Ok, actually I just love holidays where I get to buy gifts. I'm glad you had some family over to celebrate.
By the way, the river that runs through our ranch is called the Big Lost. We have a very high water table and the river disappears and sinks into the ground and pops back up again down the line. It's sure not sinking now!

Ok Jess - Dad and I put our blogs on pretty close together and I did not know he had even put one on. I couldn't figure out how you knew the guys had cleaned the gutters --- duh. You can tell how much your dad and I communicate. :)
I added mine and quickly shut it down and didn't even look. Weird.
