because I've actually put two new posts on our Lokodi blog. On another note, Hans invited two guys from his class to come over for dinner tonight. I asked him what he wanted me to cook. This is not always the best question to ask him. He usually says that he doesn't care and that anything I cook will be fine (by the way, I hate when he says the word "fine". It's not fine, it's either good or it's not.). Well, this time he actually said he wants me to cook my chili. I then proceeded to explain to him that chili is a seasonal dish and that you should only cook it in fall or winter. Maybe I should have just excepted his answer and said that would be "fine". Why can't I just be satisfied that he actually for once gave me an answer instead of just saying anything would be "fine"? And of course, after I was done preaching about the different kinds of dishes for the different seasons, he wasn't about to make another suggestion as to what I should cook. He was smart and responded that anything I decide will be "fine".

P.S. I'm making Chili for dinner tonight.

Oh this is funny...you ought to call Chelsey and ask her what Mike and I fought about in front of her. She will know what I'm talking about...
Yes, I agree. Funny story.

The word "fine" is a loaded one for sure!
Yes, that's a very funny story! And you caved - but you're right - if you challenge something after asking for an opinion, then you have to face the consequences. Either he won't suggest again and be very generic, or you will do what he wants.
Glad you're having chili. It's good enough to serve company. The guests might think you're weird having chili in hot weather, but whatever! I'm sure they will enjoy it.
You are funny. :)
