These are a few pictures from the temple celebration dress rehearsal we had this week. Tomorrow (Saturday) is our final performance. I've invited Mom and Kaitlin to come and watch. It should be a great show but I'll be glad it's over. It's been very tiring! I'm a dance captain which means I get to walk with the youth backstage before they go on. President Monson will be sitting on the front row of the Conference Center and the youth in our ward will be a mere feet from him and his wife during this presentation.
I felt like I was in the movie "Night at the Museum" when all these youth were walking around. There were so many different costumes and it was really weird. All we were missing were midget cowboys and a mammoth.

Wow! That looks like quite the production!
That will be a cool performance. I'm glad things are almost over though. Then you can spend a little more time with your family.
Looks like a cool performance! Have fun today!
We can't wait to see this. Dad is being very kind to stay home with Ammon tonight so Katy and I can go with Jen. I only wish Kaitlin would have been in the production had we lived up there! What a great opportunity for the kids. They may be tired of all the practices, but I don't think any of them will ever forget this experience.
Can't wait to see it! Thanks for the tickets, Jess.
I'm also sorry to hear about your job - is there any kind of job out there in your field that isn't a gov't job? Maybe you ought to go a different direction. (Right now I don't know if I'd want to have a gov't job - maybe it would get cut - oh, I forgot who's in charge - money spender himself.)
I just have to say, this was the most amazing thing I have ever been to! I honestly was touched by the spirit. After the performance was over we all started to go and President Monson got up and started to leave as well. He could have all but left the stage and not acknowleged those kids in wheelchairs and with disabilities but he didn't. He went up and shook their hands and talked with them. It was the best expirence of my life! Thanks so much for letting me be a part of it (maybe not the production itself but the opportunity to see it).
Looks like a ton of work.
