I'm heading to the upper Midwest today. The Superior National Forest is hosting a symposium about fire and wind (no, no "earth" included) in the Boundary Waters. Since I've mapped over 100,000 acres of burned lands and actually visited the Boundary Waters, we were invited to talk at the symposium.
I'm not too thrilled about traveling to Minneapolis and then Duluth in February, but that's the lot I get. Let's hope the Midwestern ice stays away and it's just plain cold.
It's snowing pretty good here this morning as I type this, so let's hope my flight isn't delayed.
Have a good week, everyone!

Don't freeze out there! Have a great trip.
I hope you get there safely. I'm glad you're going to frozen country and not me.
Good luck on your presentation.
It was 35 in Minneapolis, so no problem there. I made the 160 mile drive to Duluth and it's snow covered and colder here, but nothing I can't handle.
