1. Have any of you ever paid to have your air ducts cleaned? Did it make any noticeable difference in your home air quality and furnace / AC efficiency?
2. Some of you may know about our movie kick lately (see here for details). Here's a list of movies with strikethroughs over the ones we've watched since I originally wrote the post.
Ratatouille
Hairspray
The Dark Knight (Batman)
Spider Man 3
Premonition
Ocean's 13
RV (only if someone owns it and I can watch it for free)
The Devil Wears Prada
Happy Feet
College Road Trip (again, if I can borrow it)
Indiana Jones
Kung Fu Panda
Incredible Hulk (with Edward Norton)
I've decided not to watch Ocean's 13, Indiana Jones, and The Devil Wears Prada based on recommendations from others. We're trying the NetFlix service for a while and one of the movies I ordered was Lawrence of Arabia. Does that make me a total nerd? I'm rather excited to see this movie again. I haven't seen it since I was a teenager in Indiana. We saw Quantum of Solace in the theaters recently. Jen got me movie passes for my birthday and it took us until last week to use them. We really gotta get out more!
3. Finally, here's a funny video a buddy emailed me. Enjoy!

So what movies tid you like and which did you not like?
We like Netflix. I like that you can watch some movies instantly. There are some that are newer but most are older. The boys can watch some cartoons and Mike can watch his sci-fi movies and I can watch classics and we don't have to waste our Netflix movie that is coming in the mail by watching a movie no one else wants to see.
piano man!
And we just watched Valkyrie this past weekend. Dad, you'd like this one. I cried in the end. It really makes you think about the power of persuasion and moral ethics. How strong would you be? The ending is hard to watch. I couldn't actually ~ sat there crying with my eyes shut. It was a pretty good movie though. Just look past the fact that Tom Cruise was the main character.
I've liked most of them, but the Lake House was pretty lame; Prairie Home Companion was only good while Garrison Keiler was on screen doing his thing; We are Marshall was a little cliche-ish, like most those movies; National Treasure 2 was just like 1 -- cute and fun, nothing serious; I was warned that Stranger than Fiction wasn't a comedy, so I enjoyed it in its slow pace; we love that the love scenes in Bond movies are diminishing; Queen was slow but I thought interesting. This has been fun...
I'm not sure if I said it before or if you've already seen them but you should watch Lars and the Real Girl and Dan in real life. You've probably seen Dan in real life. Both are good.
Never seen Lars but we own Dan in Real Life.
I also didn't like Lake House. The Incredible Hulk was pretty good as was Kung Fu Panda. I really want to see Quantum of Solace but just haven't done so yet. Was it good? I really liked Casino Royale.
