IT'S COLD OUT HERE! The kids were positive there'd be a delay or something this morning, but no such luck. Sorry kiddos. Layer up! It's -7 (windchill) right now and won't get much better later. Tomorrow will be even colder. I'm sure Jason's family is in freeze mode too right now! Why on earth would you ever move to Fargo?

I was looking online this week with Mike and we saw what your weather was for the week. Ouch. You guys are freezing this week! I'm a little nervous to move to Dayton.
The air temp is currently -19 with windchills at -42. There is no school today. I thought I was going to literally freeze to death waiting the whole 3 minutes for the bus this morning. My beard iced up from my breath and my nostrils froze together. I'm thinking SOUTH!!!
It's about 40 degrees (above zero!) here. Move west, kiddies! Sorry you all are freezing, but just remember, I'm heading to Duluth next month. Duluth, like Northern Minnesota. Like, hell frozen over. Like, it's going to be cold. Gee, I can't wait. -Jess
You definitely win the FREEZE award Jason! Holy cow! PLEASE tell me that's not headed my way. I just got home from the gym and my sweat froze on the way to the car! And I need to run errands? Maybe that can wait. Laundry is looking much better now.
And Jim wonders why I don't ever want to move back to the Midwest -- duh.....
Good grief. Do you have to keep a small stream of water running at night to keep your pipes from freezing? Do you remember how we used to have to do that all the time in Nebraska? Ugh - just the thoughts of it make me shudder.
Please be careful and stay warm!!!
Mom
I still remember having to help Dad thaw the pipes out. Do you remember how cold it was the on Christmas Eve 1983? The car had gotten stuck and I had to go help Dad dig it out. If I remember right, the temperature, with the windchill was hovering around -60. I was so miserable. We did manage to get the car out though.
Was that the winter the frostbite took half my foot? Dad left me outside as punishment for chasing Chelsey with a mouse and my foot got so cold I lost half of it? I still can't find it, either...
