He's home!
I know you all know that Hans is home already, but I promised to put pics on when I got a second. This was on thursday night. When they walked in, they had a fog machine going. That's why this first picture is misty. The man at the front of the formation is General Hertling. They had a chaplin say a short prayer, then the general spoke for about two minutes. After that, the formation was allowed to break and families litterally came running off the bleachers to meet up with their loved ones. It was a great night. Hans was clear on the opposite end from where I was sitting, so we didn't find eachother for quite some time. It was like a mosh pit trying to get thru the crowds.
Gabe screamed the whole time because it was so loud and crazy in there. Not to mention it was past his bedtime. Eva was so consumed by her sucker that she didn't seem to care about anything but that. When Hans first picked her up, she just stared at him and didn't say much. Then we got in the car to go home and Hans was in the drivers seat. Eva kept looking over at him and then back at me because she's so used to me being the only one that drives. Then she all the sudden said "daddy" and pointed to him. Like she just realized who he was. It was really cute. Ever since then, she hasn't left him alone. She's always running to him trying to show him something. It's wonderful to see her response to him. They are just picking up where they left off. We are absolutely loving having him home again. It was a very long 15 months. We love you daddy!

YEAH!! We're so glad you are home, Hans. You all look great - I'm glad to see that big smile, Lindsey and I hope you aren't stressed out any more.

I little explanation here - David & Tana came up today to see Ammon and he got on the computer. I didn't even realize that I was signed in under their name - so they didn't make the above comment, I did. However, they were pretty excited to see these photos and they took the computer over to Ammon so he could see it. They are happy you are home, too, Hans. :)
Mom again.
Yeah! Welcome home! Glad you guys are all together again.
Great pics guys! Glad Eva remembers her daddy! I hope you all get a little rest and are able to now enjoy the holidays together. Welcome home again Hans!
I always cry when I see these things on TV. I can't imagine how exciting and emotional it must have been for you guys! --Jen
Welcome home, Soldier. We appreciate all you are doing. We remember your Lindsay when she was a little one. Our daughter Nancy used to babysit the Clark kids here in Nebraska.
