Multiple Birthday Greetings

This is my second attempt at this post. Could someone tell me how to do an edit without being on overtype. That makes it impossible to do a correction except at the end of your current typing. Please help if you know how to turn such a thing off.

Two days ago was my father's one hundred-thirteenth birthday. He was born the same year as President Kimball. Some of you do not even remember him. Jason remembers my dad. The key words are Fig Newton. Dad used them to bribe Jason into being good. Jason just thought Dad loved to give them to him, and perhaps he did. It was sort of like a popcycle for Henry the 2nd right now.

Think of all the things that changed in my father's lifetime: TV, airplanes, automobiles, communication devises, computers, antibiotics, and the list goes on.

Today is the celebration of two wonderful people's birthdays. Jen and Jason are officially older today. But let me remind them that their rate of aging is the same as mine. Time will get them, too.

Chris and I wish you the best there is to have. Be good, be happy, be hopeful, and your joy will endure forever. You have shown no reason to me in the past that I should have any reason to doubt that our associations will be eternal. I love you both. Happy birthday. All I can say is that Jess and Michelle are lucky (and deserving) to have them!

And all remember that the 24th of November is the birthday of Scott Joplin. He is the man who popularized modern jazz type music. The person called Kaitlin the Weez told me about that. Any reason why she should be interested in the 24th of November?

I think Jen enjoyed her birthday. There really is no better place to spend it than here

We start our long journey home tomorrow (Wednesday). We fly a from Maui to Oahu around 1pm and then catch a red eye from Oahu to SLC Wednesday night. We're not looking forward to the 6.5 hr. flight, but we're excited to see our girls again.
