The first two pics of castles are on the Rhine River. It was a beautiful day.

This castle above is Burg Eltz, the coolest of them all. This one is the one off the mosel river. We did a tour inside. It was built in the 1400's and is still privately owned by the same family. Pretty cool huh?

This is Bill's GQ look. Isn't it great?

Wow! What a fun trip! I wish I could've come out there to Germany while you were still living there. I would love to see it all in person. Everyone that's been out to visit you has said it's been a blast! Bill and Diane look the same as ever!! They are some of my most favorite people in the whole world! I'm so glad they got to come visit you. Does she still have that same contagious laugh? I bet they were happy to have you there to show them around!
How fun to be able to show them around. It's pretty fun that these guys, our neighbors for just a few, probably stressful years (for them!), still keep in touch and have remained friends.
I think we moved to their neighborhood in 1988 or something and moved in 1990 to Indiana. Lindsey would have been 6 at the time.
Glad you got to see them. -Jester
Ooh, I remember Burg Eltz! So fun for you to get to live in such a cool place! --Jen
How I wish I could have tramped all over with you guys! I'm so very glad they were there with you when you could not be out here. It looks like you had a great (!) time showing them around. I got a kick out of Bill's GQ stand - I wonder what he would think of that if he knew what that meant. :)
