Great Talent

I happened to catch about 5 min of Oprah yesterday. I think I caught the best 5 minutes of the show too. She's been showcasing this girl I'd never heard of and thought you'd be interested in her talent also. She's filipino and only 16 years old. I can't believe what range and control this girl has in her voice. David Foster heard about her and they're now working together. She's well on her way now! Check out this performance on Oprah yesterday. I like her version almost better than Celine's.

I've seen her before. She's amazing. I definately like her version more than celine's because she's not naselly sounding like celine. What a set of pipes for a 16 year old, well for anyone actually.

I loved her version, she is great. However I still remember Chelsey singing "Hero" at (I think it was Jess') court of Honor. This was years back when we lived in Idaho so it must have been at least 9 years or so? Do you remember that Chelsey. You were so awesome. I would love to have a tape of you doing that again. I remember being blown away by your voice, so incredible.

We saw this girl, too. Incredible at such a young age. It just goes to show that you don't need to be on American Idol to get noticed! :)
And I agree with Michelle -- Chelsey you have a great voice.

I am still amazed when I remember the reaction of the crowd at a concert in Lewis Cass High School. Chelsey sang and blew the house down. She is my daughtor, and if I had just taught her to use her talent with some push, she and her family would all be rich and famous now. I am not kidding Chelsey. Your voice is that good.
