I don't know if you will be able to open this one without a prescription to the journal. This is the latest research article out of my lab.

looks like a pretty sketchy link. Do i see the word nude in that link? Sure research....
HaHa
Did you write this article? I couldn't get in.
Mom
I've never had a pre-scription to a journal. Is that where you get to read it before everyone else? Just kidding! I couldn't get in either.
Yeah, I just noticed the prescription thing. It has been a long day. Sorry that you all couldn't get in to the article. I didn't think that you would be able to. The link leads to an article I just had published in the journal Otology and Neurotology. It is about a study we did that shows that you can inhibit the growth of human vestibular schwannomas with a drug call Herceptin (Trastuzumab). We showed this by implanting human tumor into nude mice (a consequence of being without a thymus for these mice), treating with drugs, and comparing tumor size pre- and post-treatment using MRI. We also looked at cell survival by removing the tumors post-treatment, preparing them for microscopy, labeling the tissue sections for proteins specific for markers of cell survival and/or senesence. Bored yet?
Just so you know, I used "prescription" in a conversation yesterday when I should have used "subscription."
I also once used "suppository" instead of "depository" once. It was embarrassing. Oops. That's one stinky place.
As painful as it is to read some of these journals, I think I need a prescription. Oh well, at least I didn't throw up at a dinner party :). I'm still laughing about that. Sorry, Chels.
By the way, Dave, nude research is the best kind. Not that you'd know that yet but maybe someday if you are lucky.
