We had a great time. We got to mom and dad's around noon and started eating a little after 1. The food was great. I didn't overextend myself at the table, unlike usual, and instead overextended myself during the next four hours nibbling on leftovers.
We went over to Payson to see Jen's grandpa around 6pm and made it back to West Jordan around 9pm.
I was thinking of doing some Black Friday shopping but just couldn't justify spending the $700 for the TV I wanted. Jen made it to WalMart today around noon and got a CriCut ... she didn't think there would be any left. She got a screamin' deal.
Thanksgiving was great! I did not eat as much as usual, but then we did not have any crane to get me up stairs after the meal.
The food was great! You should have tasted the raspberry salad and the yams, wow, they were great. So was the rest of the meal. My absolute favorites are the cranberry relish and the deviled eggs. Yummmy! I ate more eggs than anything.
I missed those that were not here. But I guess you can't have everything. I love those who were here and I love you all.
It was kind of cool to have the little kids at the same table. I think it is the first time I can ever remember seeing that, even from when I was a kid.
I just looked up that cricut thing. Wow that is neat. I watched the video. I would love to have one of those. I could do all kinds of awesome scrapbooking and card making with it. What a fabulous item. I looked up to see where the nearest store in Iowa sells one and it's in Des Moines a two hour drive so I don't think I'll be making that drive anytime soon. I also looked on the internet to see if you could purchase one and they are out of stock. Must be a popular thing. Maybe someday, it's really neat and would be tons of fun to have.

You may want to just copy and past that URL into a new browser. The link I provided opens in this comment window.

Jen says they have a ton on eBay. WalMart had a good deal on Black Friday so some (well, maybe a lot) folks are trying to cash in by reselling them.
