Someone is celebrating a half birthday
Hey, I almost forgot...I'd like to bring your attention to the calendar. I'm getting so old. Once when I was in college, a roommate and her boyfriend brought me a bag a candy bars to my work to celebrate my half birthday. Another time I brought candy to my institute students so we could all celebrate my birthday. Mike doesn't think it is an important thing to celebrate so he never does. And the truth is, I really don't care. But it's fun to pretend right? So, wish me a happy half birthday, all!

My half-birthday is coming up too -- and Kaitlin's 16th is coming up quickly. Anyone have any suggestions as to the kind of party we should throw for her? She wants one and I can't remember ever throwing one for her. Send suggestions this way -- and they need to be cheap so we have enough left over to buy her some gifts.

Speaking of Half birthdays, Caleb's is on Valentines day. I always think that's cool, so one year I made him half hearts on Valentines day for this half birthday.
