I had to put the one in with the pigeons just so his kids would not believe him when he says that he never had pigeons. Oh well. The one in the middle is, I think, the only picture we have of the interior of the Cokeville home of his Grandpa Teichert. We did not have a camera when he was a baby, but this cute little boy got his picture taken in LaGrande, Oregon. Notice everyone: he was reading! He has not stopped doing that since!

Lately it seems like a lot of people think you have said a lot of things you actually haven't Jason. Don't worry, I believe you. That's huge, 'cause I am pretty much awesome.
i'm sad you don't have any baby pictures. so, were those your birds, or dad's?
Lindsey
Lance,
I haven't the slightest idea what you are talking about. I really don't know it is that you say that I have said since the only things anyone has heard from me in quite some time is what I have written here on the blog. I think you have been listening to too much Radiohead.
Those birds were Dad's, Lindsey. I never had any that I would admit were mine.
Oh, and I never shot Jess. That is just a vicious rumor being perpetrated by the man. How could I ever have shot my own little brother? That would have just been wrong.
Ah, Jason. You sound so innocent. But you aren't! You truly did wear my formal when you were 16. We were living in LaSierra Ward in Carmichael. It was not black and white (I don't even remember the time you claim when you were 11?). It was a rust and cream colored formal and you wore my long white, button-up gloves. I don't know what you did for girls' hair, but you were gorgeous. Don't even pretend. I have kept quiet until now. It's your turn! :)
Mom
I don't think you understood what I was saying Jason. That's ok. I figured it might be misinterpreted. I wish not to clarify. There was nothing negative about the intention of my words. (and yes, I definitely have been listening to too much radiohead. --much better than RHCP)
I must be getting old, but what is RHCP?
Adam was standing beside me when Jason shot me. Actually, Jason yelled out to us "Duck down or I'll shoot you!" Adam took him seriously, laid down, and didn't get shot. Me, ever the doubter that my own brother would shoot me, I remained standing.
Jess
Yeah, Lance, I am a little slow on the pick up today. I realized that you were just messing around about 2 seconds after I hit the post button.
RHCP is the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Mom, I really don't remember the 16 year old dress up thing. It must have either been extremely traumatic or you are confusing me with Adam.
The only thing I remember about this purported shooting was that it was a cloudy, windy day and I was about 75 yards away from Jess. I didn't even aim because I knew that with the distance and the wind, there was no way I would hit anyone with my BB gun. When Jess grabbed his leg and yelled out, my first thought was that I was dead meat.
Abby, Leah, and Lauren are grateful your aim wasn't any worse (or better?) that day. That could have been bad. I probably would have told on you then.
