Jess and Jen have been married forever

How was your anniversary? Did you go out? Get a babysitter? Have a yummy dinner? Get each other gifts?

Dropped the kids off at 7pm, went to a 7:20pm movie, out of there by 9:30, pick up the kids, head home. No dinner, no gifts.

Before you think that was a pretty lame way to celebrate, it really was the way we wanted and needed it. We've been pretty busy with work, home projects, and party planning.

As far as dinner is concerned, there really are no good places to eat around here. Everything is cookie cutter food service restaurant (Chili's, Ruby Tuesdays, Olive Garden, etc...). Nothing like that sounded good. That stuff gets old in a hurry.

I remember asking Brent if we could simply go to the park for my bday 2 yrs ago. I did't want anything but quiet and relaxation. And that's just what we did. We took a blanket, got a bucket of KFC and sat at the park for a while. Less is definitely more most of the time! Happy belated anniversary by the way!

That sounds like a good night to me. We have only been to two movies in two years--the Harry Potter movies. They are like our yearly movies. Going to a movie sounds so fun to me.

I will agree with your post about forever if you change the word married to the words in love. That just might be true. Really, it is probably true, and they are not the only ones. But they are obvious ones and I love it!

I certainly do love my wife. I got a gem. Hope I can stay good enough to get her forever!
