Pictures from Ella's blessing

Here are some pictures from yesterday. Thank you to all for coming and for supporting us and for you men who stood in the circle and for Jen for taking Henry out during the blessing (he was calling out Dada over and over...and over... and without Jen's help I wouldn't have heard a word of the blessing).

What a beautiful family. I'm sad we couldn't be there. You look awesome Amy.

Your blessing was beautiful, Adam. Ella has a great chance of becoming a wonderful woman. I heard one part of the blessing which particularly impressed me. She was to be blessed with the best traits of the women she was named after. My mother, Mary, did a lot of great things. It was her that taught me of many of the things that I cherish as true and important. She was intelligent, and interested in everything. She read books with a passion. All kinds of books. Ella has a mother that has many of those same traits, too. She is going to do just fine in this world. I think dad may just may be a great influence on her, too!

These pictures are sure wonderful. She will love that one of Henry holding her wheh she gets older.

Beautiful pictures. Wish we could be there. I love her dress and the picture of Henry holding her is so precious.

We actually have thought about coming there, but the van ride would be horrible. Our children can't get along just going to the lake 20 minutes away so I'm not sure how 24 hours of driving would go, probably would kill us.

What beautiful kids. I'm so excited to see them in less than two weeks. Did you know that my best friend out here has a one year old named Ella? She's a cutie. I'm glad the blessing went well. I had a friend of mine write down the blessing Hans gave to Eva. It was a beautiful experience. Congrats.

One of the Mendel's laws of genetics is the law of independant segregation. This law states that during gametogenesis all the genes will sort randomly, yielding genetic diversity. I don't think this law applies with you two. Your children are too beautiful.
