So last night, I inherited 8 new pairs of shoes!! My neighbor, Amy, has a sister-in-law (Brooke) that works for Nike in Oregon. Brooke gets free shoes all the time and is always sending them down to Amy. Last night, Amy came over to my house with a box of shoes from Brooke. Brooke decided that with all the shoes she gets from work, she'd better clean out the closet, so she sent a bunch to Amy. Only, Amy has bigger feet than Brooke. Yeah for me!! Brooke has good taste in shoes and I now own 8 new pair that have only been worn maybe once. The Nike running shoes were from a photo shoot-- who knows? Maybe a famous foot was in these shoes for a commercial! I love shoes. I've tried explaining that to Brent, but he doesn't get that 1 pair of church shoes and 1 pair of everyday shoes is just not enough. I think he's relieved I won't need to buy any for a while! So there you have it. I just thought I'd share my joy with you all. Shoes, glorious shoes. You women know what I'm talking about!

Cool! I'm totally jealous. I love shoes too. That's a good deal. Feel free to send them my way.
Shoot, I wish your feet were the same size as mine! Cute shoes!!
Guess what I heard yesterday? I heard that Spanish Fork is going to build a new shopping center (which is probably going where North Park is located right now since the city sold it to a developer, much to our dismay) - but the good thing about it is that they are supposedly bringing in a Costco, a Lowes and a Kohls!! How about that?! I won't have to go to American Fork, SLC or Orem for a single thing I need. That would be nice. It may take up to two years and the information may not be totally accurate, but that's the scuttlebutt going around.

Just remember to have Amy tell her sister that men's shoes are needed, too. I'm always open to new shoes. I love getting new shoes, although that doesn't happen all too often.
I got some nice work/dress shoes at Macy's just over 4 months ago. Within that time, a lot of scuffs are appearing that are caused not by normal wear, but bad "paint" job on the shoe. I also noticed a few days ago that one of the seams is falling apart. Time to make a visit to Macy's and see if I can get any money back.
I am sitting here bare foot, and love only sandels with no toe stuff. But if you love shoes, you have hit a jackpot. Now Brent will have to devise places to take you so you can wear those shoes.
