The storm that Adrianne and Mike just had arrived here in Iowa City last night. Thankfully, all the ice stayed to the south. We have about 4" of new snow on top 4" already there. It is finally starting to look and feel like winter around here. The roads were miserable on the way to church this morning. We were slipping and sliding all the way down Mormon Trek Blvd. I am sure that by tonight the skies will be perfectly clear. The weather is like a 10-year-old boy who steals a donut. One moment he is sneaking around committing the crime and the next moment he has a look on his face that says, "Who, me? I didn't do anything." I am sure all the farmers around here are thankful for the snow. We have had very little moisture this winter.

I hope all is well with everybody.

We woke up to more snow this morning in SL too. While it looked beautiful, I'm a little tired of the artic cold air. Single digits gets old every morning. Brent just laughs at me because I'm whining about it, but at least my car fits into our garage! He still has to scrape the ice for a while.

The great thing about the snow we got was that it was VERY dry. It was so powdery that when I shoveled the 3 inches or so we got, my sidewalk was completely dry underneath. I love that kind of shoveling. Easy on the back.

It has been cold out here, though. When Jen tells me that we're only about 6 weeks from having our baby, I get scared. But then I think, hey, we're in the thick of spring by March, so maybe I'm excited after all! I'm ready to start golfing again!
