I am beat!
Every three months, we "launch" a new set of 12 songs for Body Step (the aerobics class Michelle and I teach). Our Group Fitness Coordinator thought it would be fun to do it outside. I wasn't too happy about the idea when she first mentioned it 6 weeks ago and emailed her and our boss my concerns (high impact aerobics on concrete? Ouch! What if someone falls? Again, on CONCRETE). I was told not to worry that they would take care of it. Well, today was our launch and I was assigned to teach the last 6 songs. Not a problem. However, this morning at 10 am it was 98 degrees. Once again, I email our GFC and told her that I didn't think it was a good idea. No luck. When I got there tonight, we were set up outside. Usually it takes a couple of songs before I am sweating but tonight I was sweating half way through the warmup song - not a good sign. By the time we got to the fifth song, I was nailed and I still had one more song to go before I had to get up in front of everybody and pretend that I had tons of energy. Anyway, it ended up going very well. I am glad it is over.

Like I said when I was visiting you guys, I am impressed you do this! You are both so skinny. Maybe that is what I will need to do in a few weeks when the baby comes.
That's pretty dangerous actually. Does your boss want some heat exhaustion or something? I wouldn't have the energy to start a class outside in that heat let alone finish one!
