Car donations have picked up recently. We've had about a dozen donations this year, which may not sound like much, but considering the effort we put in to this, it's fantastic. We have spent $240 on advertising, and that's it. Today was monumental, as well. We had our first out of state donation. A couple drove down from Boise to get a new car at Larry H. Miller Toyota. They wanted to trade in their 1988 Toyota Camry, but the dealer would only give them $200. So they asked for a phone book to donate. I guess we got lucky because they opened the one yellow pages we advertise in. They called and said the car was ours if we came down there right then and picked it up. So we complied.
The car runs well and is now sitting in my driveway. It supposedly books for $850, so we'll try to sell it for about $500.
Not counting three cars still in limbo (not sold at the auction or sitting in my driveway), we've already made SBAU over $1800 just during 2006. It's the easiest $1800 they've ever earned.

Well thats really cool. Congratulations (However you spell it...)!!!!!
This is great Jess. Just think of the sucess you would have if you advertised more. I'm sure SBAU loves the work you do for them.
