So far, so good. Church was pretty good (two speakers...two mentions of surfing) and the weather continues to be beautiful. Today was designated as a beach day. We probably spent 5-6 hours at the beach. Abby finally gathered the courage to play in the water, so we were able to stay. Luckily, our condo is fairly close to the beach, so we were able to leave the beach for lunch and a nap for Leah and then return a few hours later.
Tonight we're going to eat dinner at a diner at the end of the Oceanside Pier. We ate there last time we came and enjoyed the atmosphere. On the nearly half-mile walk to the end of the pier, you pass numerous people fishing -- no license required.
Tomorrow, all of Jen's family is going to Tijuana. We went last time and got our fill. Since I've stopped using steroids, I've no need to visit TJ again. We decided to make tomorrow our San Diego Zoo day. We bought tickets online (through the L-3 perks, Brent) before we left Utah and they are good any day through next March or something.
My knees and ears (swimmer's ear) need a break from the ocean for a day anyway.
