Rain Dance
I know that I have previously written about this but please humor me...There is something wrong when it is 7:00 pm and it is 100 degrees. There is something wrong when it is 9:30 am and it is 89 degrees. The high is 101 today and 102 tomorrow with all next week between 98 and 102. Remember back with me to Indiana when the humidity made it feel 20 degrees hotter (ok, maybe an exaggeration). It is like that here except we always have a breeze and are in a drought so it isn't quite as humid as it is supposed to be. As bad as I feel for Lindsey and David, I don't feel as bad as I should. I am jealous that it is still cool there. I would much rather add layers of clothing than have to keep them on (in the name of modesty of course) when I want them off!! I guess we all want what we can't have.

Adrianne, I can temporarily feel your pain. We spent the night in Las Vegas yesterday and it was still near 100 degrees at 9pm. And when we left the next morning, it was 89 at 8am. Kinda crazy and makes me wonder why anyone would live there. Jen commented that it's appropriate that "Sin City" is in a hellish climate.
The weather in Oceanside, CA, on the otherhand is very very nice. We had a great time in the ocean and hangin' on the beach our first afternoon/evening here.
Wish you all could be here to enjoy this with us.
I am so jealous!! I remember driving to vegas one year and our air conditioner broke. It was awful. Yesterday after I posted the blog it got up to 102 even though the high was only supposed to be 100. I love the beach and wish we could be there. Mike's grandparents live there--maybe we should go see them and the beach. We ended up going to the sprinkler park and all of us (including Mike) loved it.
