With Mom, Dad, Kaitlin, and Ammon heading to Iowa tomorrow, we decided to visit Elk Ridge today. I haven't been down there since the late 80's, so we were totally overdue a visit. Of course, our van didn't have enough gas to make the trip from SLC so we all jammed into the Accord (one carseat and two boosters -- yeah, it was tight in the backseat). When we got to Elk Ridge, we saw Aunt Elisabeth visiting, too, so it was a family reunion of sorts!
The girls were pretty excited to be at Grandma and Grandpa's and their energy level peaked. They wouldn't sit still! In fact, they moved so much that even the camera couldn't capture them...
Well, we finally convinced them to stop and smile.
Kaitlin was wearing her boyfriend's trucker hat and we had fun talking about it.
Hope they all have a fun trip to Iowa and we look forward to their safe return on June 22.

Mom and dad got there safely. I'm glad you and the girls got to go see them before they left. Does this mean Jen is feeling better?
