Number 10 Graduates Part 1!

Kaitlin just about ready to head to the school for her graduation. She graduated with high honors. At the very beginning of the ceremony, three paragliders came flying in and landed on the football field.
These are out of order - this man came last with the flag flying. It was really neat to see this.

He landed without the flag touching the ground. These guys rushed over and caught the edges of the flag before it touched the ground. Then the scout running over to meet them took the folded flag and took it over to the American Legion where they posted the colors and then did a gun salute. None of this could have been done inside a building. This was the neatest graduation I've ever been too - the idea of doing it on the football field is a great one!

This was the seond man to come down. This was the first paraglider to come down.

Whoo hoo! High honors even! Tayler was valedictorian of her class. I'm pretty sure even though her graduation was only 45 minutes long, yours was awesomer because of the paragliders. That would be neat! congratulations!

PS There were only 19 kids that graduated in mackay :)

Kaitlin's class had 299 that graduated. I think she was ranked 54th or 58th - something like that. And it took an hour and 45 minutes with the talks, songs, fluff that was fun and reading the names. She has about a 3.89 or 3.9 GPA. Not bad at all.
