Graduation Information!

Hey all,

Sorry I've been so poor at communicating with you about graduation. Here is some information.

UVU's 69th annual graduation celebration will be held April 30, 2010.

Two types of graduation ceremonies will be held: Commencement (main ceremony for all graduates) and Convocations (school/college ceremonies - individual graduate recognition). There is no cost to attend any of the ceremonies, seating is open to the public (no tickets required), and parking is located in the Events Center parking lot.

Due to limited seating and space, guests must remain in guest seating and will not be allowed in the graduate line-up or seating areas. In order to reduce the amount of distraction during this important event, the attendance of small children and babies is strongly discouraged.(they don't mean that) Please contact the student/graduate to verify the times and locations of the ceremonies in which they are participating.

Larry Echohawk, huh? He was the Idaho Attorney General when we lived there. Just don't make Dad listen to him, he's a democrat.

I'm so excited for you! Congratulations! What's your next step? Did you ever find that internship in UT you were looking for with IHC? I'm a bit out of the loop these days.

Chelsey, I sure wish I could say that I had an internship with Intermountain. That is not the case though, and I am currently looking for a new job. Very frustrating right now!!! You know someone in the healthcare field that would hook me up with a job or internship? Seriously, if any one of you know of anyone and feel ok to let me talk to them, please let me know.

As far as the next step academically, I will take the graduate exam this fall and apply for schools then too. So, basically I have another year before I start grad school.

Lance, my friend that went to school in Oklahoma (in hospital administration) is now back in Utah working for IHC. You ought to give him a call. I can give you their email and number again if you want it.

Adrianne, I would very much enjoy contacting your friend. Please do send me his email and number again. That would be great. Thanks.
