Ala Carte

I just have a few items to discuss here:
  1. I saw on Facebook that Lindsey and Hans were stuck in Ireland due to the recent volcanic activity in Iceland. Any news update on whether they made it back to Germany to their kids, and if so, how did they get back?
  2. Gillian, how is your salon work going? How often do you work and how many hours / day? When is your wrist surgery and does it affect your Edward Scissorhands?
  3. I got a portable basketball hoop for free from a neighbor. It's in great shape and I officially feel like a grown-up now. Now all I need is a dog and 1.7 less kids and I'm a true American. Or something like that.
  4. The last 4 days in Utah have been GORGEOUS! Like, you ain't seen better days.
Go Jazz. I don't have much hope tonight, but I'll still watch.

I wouldn't mind being stuck in Ireland without my kids...

We are still here in Ireland. It's funny you say that Adrianne because i would have said the same thing if it was someone else. This situation has given me lots of time to ponder on what it would be like to be in a natural disaster and be seperated from my kids. Well this is a natural disaster but at least it's not doing any of is physical harm. It has however made me realize how much I love and miss my children. I also have been so blest to have such wonderful friends that care about me and that I know are taking great care of my kids. We have been watched over too. We were blest to have a landlady who is not charging us any additional money to stay for a whole extra week. It's been very refreshing to see a person so willing to help rather than get what money she can out of us. We are probably going to be taking the ferry to France on saturday. That is the soonest they could get us out of here. The flight keeps getting pushed back. We don't know how we will get from France to Germany but well work on that when we get there. Please pray for us. I love Ireland with a passion but I'm ready to be home to my kids.
