Water and Buggy Rides

Jess & Jen came to visit on Friday night after work.  We had intended to go up to the grotto in Payson Canyon, take a few pictures and hopefully find some water so I could learn to do "silky" water.  Unfortunately, it was raining when we were ready to go so we headed down to the path that runs along Spanish Fork River hoping we could find something of interest to photograph.  We ended up taking a few photos under a bridge. The rain stopped, the evening was nice and we had a good time. The following morning, we headed over to Jack's so the kids could ride on his little buggy. Pictures are in no particular order.
These cute girls look good standing on anything -- standing on an old auger-like machine that lifts bails of hay to the top of a stack.
Sunset Friday night after the rain stopped.
All the kids watching Uncle Jack harness and hook up "Junior", his horse.

I don't know what these are called but I am always fascinated with them. Jack has lots of old machinery that could make some good old-fashioned photos.
Grandpa roped Austin and Austin was perfectly content to stay that way so Jim could take him anywhere. That's the about the only way this boy is going to stay in one place!
Aunt Nelva has always loved flowers. Every year her yard becomes more and more beautiful. I didn't know she had a real flower garden with a bench, birdbaths, statues, etc. until this year. She has done a wonderful job and it was most pleasant to sit on the bench and visit with her. I private little haven.
 Nelva's flowers.
This is the weirdest picture I've ever seen.  I saw the rock in the top right hand corner of the picture and told Jess we needed to get a shot of that one. It looks like a person under water with long green hair. I called it "Tangled."  Hopefully Jess will post the one he played with so you can see this weird rock.
The weekend was very fun.  We always enjoy having family members come over. It was a relaxed, stress-free time.  I hope we do this again before too long.

Looks like fun. I think that implement you took a picture of is a windrower or at least part of a windrower.
