Random

I have been trying to walk a little further each day during my lunch hour. On Wednesday, I went over to the south end of campus. Since it is spring, there aren't very many students around and it was quiet and very peaceful.  As always, I took my camera and got maybe three good shots. Middle of the day just isn't a great time to take photos. But I took a few anyway and found three that I like. The first one is the door frame of the Heber J. Grant Building. It used to be BYU's library.  I found the detail to be very interesting. I had never noticed it before although I've been around this building hundreds of times.  BYU certainly doesn't add this kind of detail to any of their new, sterile buildings.

The picture below is a reflection off a window of the building across the way.  I loved the wavy lines. I like this picture.

I'm not a great fan of Iris flowers but this one was stunning. No rule of thirds here, no leading lines and  no dramatic backdrop. Just a flower that God created and once again reminded me that He is, indeed the Creator and it's my blessing to view those creations.

I had some classes in that building. It is a beautiful building and you did a great job with the pictures.
