St. Louis Trip - Part 1

I'm putting up some photos of my visit to St. Louis but I'll do it in two parts because putting too many photos messes up the blog (even when I edit it). Jason and Michelle and their entire family were at the airport to meet me on Sunday afternoon. It was so good to see all of them! We spent about 6 hours together. We went to the St. Louis Temple, to lunch and then went to the arch. You just can't take enough pictures of that arch! It's amazing. There is a museum under the arch that we visited. It was all about the Lewis & Clark Expedition! We all liked that.

The picture below is exactly what the teacher of my photo class said not to do. But until I downloaded it, I didn't even know that Jared had a bubble on his head and somebody's finger (probably Jason's) was in the way. I think it's a pretty darn funny photo. Sorry Jared, I just couldn't resist.

We sat on the steps overlooking the Mississippi. We watch barges and ferries go by, listened to Dixieland jazz music and just relaxed. Except for Michelle and the kids. She raced Brenden up the stairs - and Scott later. I'm glad she's young and I don't have to be.

Jason isn't racing - he is resting!

Alyssa took this shot of all of us standing on the top of a hill under the arch. Not a bad photo, Alyssa!

Very cool pictures! Glad you all got to see each other. I've never seen the arch, so that would've been really neat to see. Love Alyssa's picture of the arch and family!
