Final Concert of the Year

Ladies, you have to agree with me that these shoes are to die for! I had to get a picture. They belong to ...... this woman, Rachel McCune, Ammon's choir teacher. I want shoes just like those!

Ammon's final choir concert was last night. It was full of fun, patriotic songs, including a rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner" arranged by Ms. McCune that was beautiful and fairly difficult. See the little girl with the red hair on the left of the photo? I think her name is Misty and she is in Ammon's class. She is one of the cutest young girls I've ever seen. Ammon told me that she loves to help him and to quote him, "She is over the top with the mothering bit!"

Ammon gave Ms. McCune a hug at the end of the concert and told her she was beautiful and a lovely lady. Every boy in every class that has her as a teacher would agree. She's awesome!

I'll make my own comment - thanks Jess for coming. Ammon was really glad you were there. We also took Ella and Henry. Ella decided that she wants to learn to play the drums.

I did enjoy coming. I've been to so few events like this that it was really nice being able to attend. The high school looked very nice (I checked out the gyms after the concert).

I got a video of Ammon's choir singing Shake, Rattle, and Roll. Ammon's even dancing in the song, so I'll have to post it sometime soon. I came home sick yesterday afternoon and it persists today, so not much coming from me for a few days. -Jess
