Streams

I went up Big Cottonwood Canyon today scouting out a winter camping spot for Scouts. I walked on 5 feet of snow up there through a snowstorm -- it was absolutely beautiful. However, I didn't find a good spot to bring the Scouts for an overnight visit.

On the way down the canyon, I stopped at a stream crossing that wasn't buried in 5 feet of snow and snapped a few pictures. Hope you like. Well, I don't really care if you don't like. I like.

Specs: 22mm, f/25, 1/4s.

Did you get a new camera or something? You must have a digital SLR. What kind? I really want one but I'm sure that's one expense Hans probably won't like. :)

No, not really. I got a Nikon DSLR last April. Work paid for it (trust me, it's not an expense I would normally approve, either). -Jess

Funny thing -- on the way home from Mackay yesterday I said to Liz, "I want to learn how to make water look smooth in a stream."
You know how to do it!!
Pretty, pretty.
It snowed on you? Glad you were safe.
