Back to the Grindstone

Well, I am back to school. I will be starting my Major today and I am quite excited.

Did anyone have the problem of being motivated to get up in the morning? I do sometimes. I don't think it will be as much of a problem this semester as it was during Fall semester. I have class at 8 am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and work at 8 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In a way, I am happy that I have to get up at 8 am everyday because maybe I can get into a schedule finally.

I think it would be a lot easier to get up if my roommates would be awake too but Deanna and Tiffany don't like getting up... aka 10am classes or noon classes. I hate not being able to get up and jam to music in the morning like I used to during High school. It makes it harder to get up and get ready in my opinion. Even with the iPod I got for Christmas it is hard to do this. The ear buds get in the way when I am doing my hair and make up in the morning.

As hard as this is going to be, I take the challenge this semester happily. Why? Well, maybe because I am more motivated to get up this time. Work- well I have to get up or not get paid and I have to work to live so there is some motivation right? Music for Dancers at 8am- Class for my major that I am excited to take (I get to learn how to play the tom toms for this class! Yay!). Dancing in the morning. The only two ways that I think I will ever be able to get up in the morning.

Wish me luck.

I think the more accurate question would be "who didn't have motivational problems for 8am classes? I was late to my fair share of classes.

I typically get to work between 8 and 8:30 these days and love the flexibility.

Good luck this semester; school was a lot of fun and I hope you're enjoying yourself. -Jess
