Survey

Hi All,

In my attempts to learn more about all of you, can you answer these questions for me, this way when we get you or your family for Christmas then I might be able to do something a little fun.

1. What is your favorite color?

2. What is your favorite place to eat as an individual or couple?

3. What is your favorite candy bar? Or if you are really not into chocolate, favorite candy?

4. Favorite Author of all time?

5. Favorite place to shop and why?

Thanks

My favorite color is probably blue but I also like green. I like eating at Panchero's when I am by myself (not very often). Symphony bars with toffee chips are my favorite. I am not sure that I have a favorite author but I really like Vince Flynn. I hear there is this new guy out named Mike Richards. He's pretty good, too. If I have to shop it would be at Scheel's sporting goods or one of the bike shops in town. I just wish I had the money to spend there. Any other questions?

Michelle,
Will you answer these questions as well? I am clueless as to what you might like as a family or individual. I didn't know Jason likes Symphony bars -- now I do. He used to love plum jam. Do you still, Jason?

Favorite places to eat
1. Red Lobster
2. Hu Hot
3. Texas Roadhouse
4. Olive Garden
5. Cactus (local Mexican Restaurant)

When I'm alone I could eat just about anywhere fastfood, but I love McDonalds smoothies or Orange Julius smoothies.

Favorite place to shop is the local STUFF consignment store. I could spend all day there. It's an Eternal garage sale.

Favorite color: Red

Favorite place to eat: Mykonos, but that's a greek restaurant here, so that does no good. I can't think of any in the states that I really like. I guess Z'tejas or Olive Garden.

Candy Bar: Milka, but that's only found in germany. However, I really like a mixture of carmel and chocolate or mint and chocolate.

Author: Jane Austen or Georgette Heyer

Favorite place to shop: Target

Now it's your turn Michelle. I need to know more about you.

1. I don't have a favorite color. However, Mike's favorite is purple and Will's is red and Isaac's is blue.

2. I really like to eat out anywhere except seafood places. We don't get to eat out often. I really like Mexican food and we also love Boomin' onions from Outback. Hmmm, right now I am always craving Subway or Taco Bell but that only happens when I'm pregnant.

3. I loved the chocolate Lindsey brought us from Germany. So, so good. But both Mike and I like Reeses peanut butter cups and butterfingers. Mike also loves Whoppers and peanut butter M&M's. The boys just like candy of any kind.

4. Hmm, this is hard. I really like L.M. Montgomery. I love Jane Austen as well and I enjoy the Shannon lady (the one that wrote the book The Goose Girl). Mike likes any LDS book. He's really into reading the fair lds stuff online.

5. I don't like to shop. I do like to shop on ebay. I also like Khols and sometimes Target. But really, the less shopping I have to do the better.

Oh Jason, I just read your comment. Mike will love you. Such a good brother you are! Keep up the stroking of his ego. ;)

1. I thought Jason's favorite color was hot pink. Like on a t-shirt. With rolled up sleeves.

2. I'll admit: I like Panda Express. And Taco Bell, even when I'm not pregnant.

3. I will agree with everything Adrianne said regarding candy. Peanut butter and chocolate together is pretty much the best ever.

4. I really like Moroni. He was pretty good. Just kidding... I can't say I have a favorite author but I loved the Tom Clancy books. (Mike, I didn't read your story until today, but I laughed and will send some feedback.)

5. Amazon.com rocks (because you can buy anything). And The Home Depot (because I dream of tools and the things you can do with them).

1. Lance's favorite color is blue or green. Nancy's favorite color is green.

2. Our favorite place to eat would have to be Cafe Rio. An awesome seafood place down here called Landry's is amazing. Also, Nancy's family loves The Colombian (place in Ybor City, supposedly awesome). We love food and can't list the many places we love.

3. Lance: No favorite, depends on the mood. Nancy: Snickers

4. Lance: No favorite here. Basically, Lance has read a lot of college text books over the last few years. Some good, some bad. But there have been a few books slipped in between. Cormac McCarthy, Regina Herzlinger, Suzanne Collins (yes, I liked The Hunger Games books), Orson Scott Card. I don't know... Nancy: she will read anything, and very quickly, but she is very critical. She many need to comment later on this because I am not sure.

5. No favorite place to shop for Lance. Not sure about Nancy.

Well, there you have it. Partially answered survey. Sorry it's not more concrete or complete.

Chelsey's answers are:

1. favorite color -- red. Warm or feisty...whichever you choose!
2. not sure if I really have a favorite. It always depends on my mood. That said, Maggiano's Italian is always a safe, yummy bet!
3. Caramello
4. Besides the BofM?? ;) Probably Jane Austen. I LOVE Pride and Prejudice. It's a classic love/hate story. Read a lot of great books lately though.
5. Great thrift/discount stores that sell furniture (D.I., NPS in Salt Lake, Home Goods or TJ Maxx). Finding a great bargain always makes my day!

My favorite color is blue - soft, pastel blues, not midnight or navy blue.
Favorite place to eat - mostly anywhere except my house. I like Costa Vida and Tsing Tso's (great Chinese place)and Wendy's.
My favorite candy: that's hard because I like chocolate. A great mint truffle is the best followed by a chocolate covered piece of toffee.
My favorite author is Jane Austen. I've read every single thing she ever wrote. L.M. Montgomery is great and I think Suzanne Collins is really good (author of the Hunger Games).
My favorite place to shop doesn't exist. I hate to shop for anything. It doesn't bring me pleasure - only stress and depression.

My favorite color is blue. A nice dark blue almost navy. Actually any blue is good. I like darker blues better but blue is the best.

Cafe-Rio is hands down my favorite place to eat. I also enjoy Tsing Tow (however that is spelled... Mom and Dad could spell it easily) even for it being a Chinese place. I am not a huge Chinese person but this place is good.

I really enjoy food... candy is different though. I love symphony bars (the blue one....) with the toffee and almonds, mmm soo good. Other than that I am not a huge candy person. I am not a huge chocolate person either. Okay, snickers. Great candy bar.

I don't really have a favorite author. I really like Gerald Lund because of the Alliance. I love Suzanne Collins (Hunger Games series). I also enjoy reading Shannon Hales book Goose Girl so far. Not to far into it yet but it is pretty good.

I love love love shopping at Charlotte Russ so much. Forever 21 and Papya are good ones as well. Jeans.... American Eagle all the way! I love a good deal though, that is why Ross and TJ Max rock my world!
