Jason & Michelle, We've joined your ranks.

Jason and Michelle aren't the only ones that have priesthood aged kids anymore. I can't believe we now have a 12 year old. Geoff turns 12 today and will have his priesthood interview tomorrow night. I'm still a little baffled by it all. 12 years passed by so quickly. In another 12 he could be a husband and father himself. That is simply beyond my brain's ability to process.

Now that Geoff's 12, Brent thought it was important to start teaching the "important" stuff.

And I agree with him 100%.

I knew I loved my husband before, but now that Brent has taught Geoff how to iron his own shirts, I love Brent even more. I hate ironing.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GEOFF!!
Twelve years old is a great milestone for a young man. You will be a great priesthood holder. I wish I could be there when you are ordained and when you begin to pass the sacrament.
I think it's awesome that you can iron your own shirts now! That will be a plus to some young lady one of these days when she finds out you have that kind of skill. Better watch you.

Happy Birthday Geoff!!

This is so great that you can iron. I agree, all boys and men should iron their own shirts. Great job in ironing your shirt.

I know Michelle is all for the ironing thing. She won't iron. I even ironed her wedding dress.

Happy birthday, Geoff! Being a Deacon is pretty cool. You get to pass the sacrament and collect fast offerings among other things. I hope you have a great day and that your mom doesn't give you too many kisses.

I know what it is about ironing that most women hate so much. You can't just mindlessly do it while watching a movie or doing some other task. It feels so unproductive for some reason. Heaven bless my mother in law for teaching her sons how to iron their own shirts. Brent has always done his own shirts since he was a teenager. Yolanda, you're the bomb. You've saved me so much time since all Brent wears are collared, button down shirts these days.

Happy birthday, indeed.

For the record, we iron clothes in our house about every three months. Either we're slobs (no...) or the clothes we wear come out of the dryer just fine, which we immediately hang up. Ironing is lame. I like using the dryer as my iron. -Jess

Happy Birthday Geoff. That's awesome. I can't believe you're 12 already. Could you come to my house and iron my shirts? I'm not even sure if I know where my iron is. :)
